Dr. Farrukh Javaid

Background
Dr. Farrukh Javaid qualified in medicine from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore, in 2012, and has spent the years since across clinical practice, hospital medicine and public health programme management.
His postgraduate training is in diabetes and endocrinology: five years of endocrinology training at Services Hospital, Lahore, and a Postgraduate Diabetes Certification awarded by BMJ and Aga Khan University, endorsed by the Royal College of Physicians, London. He is currently completing a Master of Public Health at the University of Lahore.
Alongside the clinic, he serves in the Provincial TB Control Program under the Directorate General of Health Services, Punjab — work that spans programme management, health system finance and epidemiological analysis across all thirty-six districts of the province.

So the clinic pairs consultation with practical tools: a carbohydrate counter built around Pakistani portions, meal plans using food available locally, and a structured course covering hypoglycaemia, sick-day rules and carbohydrate counting. These are free and open to anyone, patient or not.
